HOW TO WRITE YOUR NAME IN UBUNTU , KALI , BASH SHELL OR ANY LINUX TERMINAL IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES

TECHBYTE: In many videos you may have seen that people write there name in terminal. How they do that ?  Well in this post you will know that how to write your own name in your Ubuntu, Kali , bash shell or any Linux terminal using some simple commands.

                         If you are Linux user then your will have already familiar with terminal. In any Linux version like Ubuntu , bash shell , Kali etc terminal is very important part. We work on terminal , executes commands and also many more things .

         Just thing that whenever you open your terminal and the terminal came with your name written inside it. Cool is it not ?

    In this post you will know that how you write your name in your terminal by just writing Linux commands in your terminal. No matter you are familiar or you are a beginner  to Linux just follow simple steps and feel like a boss.

Now Lets start...

• First of all open your Linux terminal .
• Then if you are working as a root user then type this command   

              
           apt-get install figlet

•  If you are not a root user then you should have to type

                 
           sudo apt-get install figlet

      It will install figlet in your system.

• Now you have to  do some changes in "bash.bashrc file" which will be in your etc directory..
  

• So for editing this you have to go in your etc folder.

       
            type cd  /etc

    it will shift you in etc directory . Now you have to find bash.bashrc file in your current directory .

so just type ls command. it will show you all the finds inside etc directory.

• Now you have to do some changes in this file. so open it with editor. I am using leafpad for doing this .

   
             type   leafpad bash.bashrc


Note that the name should be right . Here leafpad is only a  editor you can use your own test editor name in place of leafpad.

• It will open bash.bashrc file in editor . Now you have to make changes in it, so go to the bottom of file and type

      
     figlet  " your name here "


Note that whatever you want to write it must be inside  " " .

• Now save your file by pressing cntrl + s .

  Now you have done . You have successfully written your own name in  terminal.

Bingo now you can see all your contact numbers which you have already saved in your phone.

Just by clicking on the name you can see the  number of that person can you can save them in your phone.

So charge it only almost to full charge and avoid overcharging.

3.Keep it Cool- You might not know that your phones battery hate high temperature and start to decrease quickly. on  playing high performance games it also start heating.So avoid your phone to getting to hot.

   

4.Avoid full discharge- When battery’s charge gets too low, they get unstable and dangerous to charge. modern batteries are are mostly Lithium Ion batteries, have no memory effect. So, you should avoid discharging them completely. you should your  keep your battery percentage up to 30% - 70%. Try to charge your battery before  20% - 30%  and avoid discharging it completely.

5.Close Unnecessary Apps- The multi-tasking capability is a common feature of smartphones. we all open many apps in our phone and forget to close it is also a main reason why battery life gets drained away easily. so close  your apps if you are not using them.

6.Disable GPS-   Your smartphone has a GPS unit that allows the sending and receiving of signals to and from satellites to determine your exact location. Certain apps uses more battery powers than others to utilize the GPS system to track your location.So stop these apps to  using GPS when not in use.

7.Minimize Notifications -   We use so many apps that uses notifications like whats-app, Facebook,  Uc-browser etc.we  get notifications on our smartphones all the time,to  be it updates on the latest news, emails, high scores from games, messages etc.they lo eat up your phones battery power.Manage your settings well and disable unnecessary notifications to save a little battery power.  

Some other Important Tips to Increase Performance OF Your Phone's Battery -

•     Turn on the automatic brightness adjustment feature
•     Take a look at your phone’s power usage pattern
•     Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and locations when not in use
•     Use widgets to easily toggle the above-mentioned settings
•     Disable continuous sync feature in apps
•     Use task manager to kill the apps
•     Disable/delete the unnecessary apps
•     Use apps to kill entire data connection when not in use
•     Disable animated wallpapers and widgets

How to change ip address in android phone :-

Goto settings > network connections >wifi.
Turn on wifi.
Now your phone will search available networks in your area.

Click on that network in which you want to connect it will ask you for password.

Enter correct password.
Below password box click on show advance option

New options will apear below. 
Goto ip settings >static ip.

Fill the ip address you want to enter eg.192.168.160.166
It will automatically take host ip address.

Click on connect.
Now your phone is connected to your network.

 You have successfully change your phones ip address to connect your router and wifi no internet access problem is solved.
