The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized

The Pi is developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, which is a registered charity in the UK and aims to promote the study of science and other topics.

Besides Raspbian you can install other operating systems such as Ubuntu mare, Ubuntu Core, OSMC, RIS OS, Windows 10 IoT and much more. Recently Linux Based SUSE has released the first official 64-bit Linux-based operating system for Raspberry Pi 3.

- The original Raspberry Pi 1 Model A was released on February 2012.
- Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+ was released in November 2014.
- Raspberry Pi 1 Model B and Pi 1 Model B+.
The Raspberry Pi 3 is the latest version of the Pi and beats version 2 in performance and features.
